Implantology Warsaw at Niewada Clinic

Untreated tooth gaps lead to many serious problems.

Once the occlusal apparatus is compromised, it loses its biological harmony, leading to the displacement of adjacent teeth, protrusion of opposing teeth, their loss, and over the years, changes to facial features.

Implantology is our domain. Dr. Paweł Niewada, MD, is one of the most distinguished doctors in Poland and a recognized expert in this field. Why choose implantology at Niewada Clinic?

1 / Research

Before the procedure, caring for every nuance of treatment, we direct our patient to undergo specialized tests to check key parameters such as blood coagulability, vitamin D level, and others. Knowing the results, we can prepare the patient for the quickest return to full functionality. The tests also ensure the certainty of the healing process and the procedure itself.

2 / Quality of materials

Implants are very durable elements. However, not all implant brands have a truly rich scientific documentation. Not all manufacturers invest in very costly and advanced clinical research, long-term observations, in research laboratories. Based on experiences, observations, and scientific knowledge, we use three leading implant systems – the Swedish Astra Tech system, the Swiss Straumann implant system, and Global D from France.

3 / Use of templates

Modern implantology, with the help of digital scans of the oral cavity, allows the creation of a 3D model of the patient’s teeth. Based on this, using specialized software, the surgeon can plan the position for the implant with perfect accuracy, individually tailored to the patient’s anatomy. Based on this, a template is created in a 3D printer, which allows the implant to be inserted with incredible precision in the right place. This guarantees complete safety and comfort for the patient.

4 / Procedure and anesthesia

Implantation performed by an experienced doctor is not a procedure that significantly burdens the patient. However, it is still a surgical procedure, so the basis for its execution is an atraumatic and minimally invasive procedure based on local anesthesia. That’s why we use computer-delivered anesthesia, The Wand. This makes the procedure fully comfortable. At the same time, computer anesthesia does not burden the body, and usually, our patients can return to their routine activities the next day.

5 / Support after implantation

Our patients are not left on their own after the procedure. We care for and monitor your health and the area around the procedure site. The condition of the soft tissues around the implant and the phase of the implant’s integration with the bone are particularly important to us. To ensure that healing is proceeding correctly, we remind you of follow-up visits and regular hygiene. Only in this way, by cooperating and staying in contact with the patient, can we be certain that the implant will fulfill its role.

6 / Quality of Prosthetic Work

Rebuilding the aesthetics of a tooth at a really high level is an art. An even greater art is to ensure that the new tooth fits perfectly in the bite. Therefore, our Implantologists have gained knowledge in top educational centers around the world. Today, we share this knowledge with doctors from Poland during our specialized training sessions.

The beauty of durable prosthetic restoration, which functions perfectly in a smile, is our specialty. All our patients can be sure that the new tooth is perfectly matched with the entire chewing system. The combination of these elements is the key to bioesthetic treatment. Skipping these protocols can lead to headaches, temporomandibular joint pain, tooth wear, bruxism, and cause permanent muscle tension within the oral cavity.

The key to successful implant treatment

success – the doctor

The doctor responsible for the implantation procedure is the most important link in the process. Their manual skills, clinical experience, and knowledge are crucial elements that ensure the safety of the implantation procedure. It is a surgical procedure, meaning it interferes with the structure of the patient’s body, making the ability to perform it of great importance for the success of the treatment. There are many tools and systems that assist the doctor in the process of the procedure, but in the end, it comes down to the human hand. Experience and skills cannot be replaced by anything else.

FAQ / Implantology

What is a dental implant?

An implant is a titanium element shaped like a cone that replaces your own, lost tooth root. This microscopic titanium element, within about three months, embeds itself and integrates permanently with the bone. It provides a solid foundation for prosthetic reconstruction such as a crown or bridge.

Is the implantation procedure painful?

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, so it is painless. After the procedure, minor discomfort may occur, which is easily controlled by the recommended painkillers. Each of our patients, after the implantation procedure, receives detailed instructions to ensure a quick healing process.

How long can I expect the implant to last?

Dental implants are designed to last for many years, often for a lifetime. Their longevity depends on several factors, including oral hygiene and regular check-ups.

Can everyone opt for implants?

Most people can be candidates for implants. Key factors are healthy gums and sufficient bone quantity (we also treat gums and reconstruct bone). However, an individual evaluation by an Implantologist is necessary.

What does the implant treatment process look like?

The process usually involves several stages: consultation, implant placement, healing period, and then the attachment of a crown or bridge.

How do I care for implants?

Caring for implants is not significantly different from caring for natural teeth. Regular brushing, flossing, dental hygienist visits, and dental check-ups are important.

How much does a dental implant cost?

The cost of an implant can vary depending on many factors, such as the type of implant and the necessary additional procedures. An exact quote is provided after an individual consultation.

Are implants safe?

Yes, the implants we use are safe and effective. We use high-quality biocompatible materials that ensure long-lasting and safe function.

Do implants look like natural teeth?

Yes, one of the main goals of implantology is aesthetics. Implants and crowns are color and shape-matched to natural teeth to provide the most natural look possible.

How long does the entire implant treatment process take?

The total treatment time can vary depending on the individual case. Usually, after a few months, the implant properly integrates with the bone.
