Implantology In Niewada Clinic

The most predictable And safe implantology

Dental implant is a conical titanium element, replacing a lost own tooth root. This small titanium part heals within three months, gaining permanent integration with the surrounding bone. It makes a solid base for a prosthetic reconstruction, e.g. prosthetic crown or bridgework.
Implantology is our domain. Dr. Paweł Niewada is one of the most titled dentists in Poland and a recognized expert in this area. He has successfully performed in his career more than ten thousand implant and implant-related surgeries. Implants hold an important place as an element of complex treatment plans, that are implemented in Niewada Clinic.
If left untreated, tooth loss can lead to many severe problems. The masticatory system looses its biological harmony. The neighboring teeth shift into the gap, the opposing teeth over-erupt, and eventually they can get lost. Over the years the facial features change.

Why implant treatment in Niewada Clinic
Examination
As we take care after every detail of treatment, before the surgery we begin with referring the patient for the specialists tests to check the basic parameters, e.g. blood coagulability and vitamin D level. Knowing the results of these tests, we can prepare the patients before the procedure, to ensure that they return to full functionality as soon as possible. The tests also guarantee certainty of the healing process and the treatment itself.
Material quality
Implants are very stable elements. However, not all implant brands have really extensive scientific documentation. Not all manufacturers invest in very expensive and advanced clinical trials, long-term observations, research laboratories. Based on experience, observation and scientific knowledge, we use three leading implant systems – the Swedish Astra Tech system, the Swiss Straumann Dental Implant system and the French-born Global D.
Use of guides
Modern implantology with the help of digital scans of the oral cavity allows to create a 3D model of the patient’s teeth. Based on this model, using specialized software, the dental surgeon is able to plan the position of the implant with perfect accuracy, tailoring it to fit the patient’s anatomy. On this basis, a 3D printer creates a guide that allows the implant to be inserted into the right place with incredible precision. This guarantees complete safety and comfort for the patient.
Procedure and anesthesia
When performed by an experienced clinician, implant placement does not carry a significant burden for the patient. However, it is still a surgical procedure, that should be performed using atraumatic and minimally invasive techniques under local anesthesia. That is why we use an anaesthetic administered by the Wand device. This ensures full comfort of the surgical procedure. At the same time, computer anesthesia does not adversely affect the organism, and usually our patients can return to their routine activities the next day.
Care after implant placement
When it comes to implant treatment, our patients are never left alone after the procedure. We take care after you, monitoring your health and tissues in the surgical field. Particularly important is the condition of the soft tissues around the implant and the phase of implant integration with the bone. In the longer perspective we remind our patients about the recall visits and regular hygiene appointments. Only in this way, by cooperating and staying in touch with the Patient, one can be sure that the implant will fulfill its purpose.
Quality of prosthetic elements
Reconstruction of tooth aesthetics at a really high level is an art. Even more so is ensuring that the new tooth fits perfectly in bite. That’s why the clinic staff has been gaining knowledge in top education centers around the world. Today we share this knowledge with Polish dentists. The beauty of durable prosthetic restoration, which functions perfectly in a smile, is our specialty. All our patients can be certain that the new tooth will fit perfectly into the entire masticatory system. The combination of these elements is the key to bio-aesthetic treatment. Neglecting these protocols can lead to headaches, temporomandibular joint pain, tooth wear, bruxism and cause permanent muscle tension in the mouth area.
Key element for successful implant treatment – the dentist
Dentist responsible for implant placement is the crucial element of treatment process. His manual skills, clinical experience and knowledge determine the safety of implant surgery. Implant placement is a surgical procedure that invades the body structure of the patient. Therefore the skills of the operator are of great importance for the success of the treatment. There are many tools and systems that can help the doctor during the procedure, but at the very end there is a human hand. Nothing can replace experience and skills.
